How to Enrol at child

From first enquiry to first day, we make the process simple and supportive. Here's what to expect.

Enrolment Process — Step by Step

We guide you through every step so that both you and your child feel ready and excited to start.

1

Enquire

Contact us by phone, email, or through our website form. Let us know your child's name, age, and when you'd like to start. We'll check availability for you.

2

Visit Us

We'll arrange a personal tour of our centre so you can see our rooms, meet the teachers, and ask any questions. Bring your child along — they'll love exploring!

3

Complete Enrolment

If you'd like to proceed, we'll provide you with an enrolment pack including the Enrolment Agreement, Fee Policy, Fee Schedule, and all the details you need.

4

Transition Visits

Before your child's official start date, we arrange settling-in visits so they can spend time in their new room, meet their teachers, and feel comfortable.

5

First Day!

Your child begins their journey at child! Teachers will keep you updated throughout the day. We'll have everything ready — you just pack a change of clothes and a smile.

Our Settling-In Programme

We know that starting at a new childcare centre can be a big transition — for both children and parents. That's why we take settling-in seriously.

How it works:

  • Introductory visits Transition visits to the room before the official start date
  • Primary caregiver Babies are assigned a dedicated primary caregiver from day one
  • Parent communication We keep you updated throughout this time.
  • No rush Every child is different — we follow your child's lead and never rush the process

Many parents are surprised how quickly their children settle at child. Our warm, welcoming environment and experienced teachers make the transition feel natural.

Depending on the room and time of year, we may have a waitlist. We recommend getting in touch as early as possible — many parents enquire during pregnancy to secure a spot.

Good to know:

  • Priority Siblings of current children receive priority placement
  • Flexibility If your preferred start date isn't available, we'll work with you to find the next best option
  • Early enquiry The sooner you contact us, the more likely we can accommodate your preferred dates
