The Growing child — Nutrition
child provides all meals for your children during their day. Our chefs design a well-balanced and nutritious menu daily, including morning tea, afternoon tea, and a hot lunch.
Each day your child will be offered fresh fruit and vegetables and encouraged to drink water to promote healthy eating habits. For younger children, all we ask is that you bring their own bottles with the formula they require — everything else is provided.
We also see meal times as an opportunity to reinforce hygiene, table manners, and to involve children in setting and clearing the tables independently.
Meals provided daily:
- Morning tea Fresh fruit, vegetables, and healthy snacks
- Hot lunch Nutritious, chef-prepared hot meal
- Afternoon tea Balanced snacks to keep energy up
- Cow's milk Provided for all babies
- Water Available and encouraged throughout the day
Packing for Your child
We make mornings easy. Here's what you need (and don't need) to bring.
What to Pack
- Spare change of clothes
- A jacket
- Sun hat or warm hat
- Bottles and formula (babies only). We will make fresh daily.
What We Provide

- Nappies, baby wipes, and creams
- Sunblock
- Engaging learning programmes and activites, learning resources, and equipment.

Comfort Items Welcome
You're welcome to pack a favourite blanket, pillow, or cuddly toy if your child would feel more comfortable and secure at sleep time. All bedding is named for your child and laundered weekly.
The Sleeping child
For all children, regardless of age, all bedding is provided. Linen is named for your child and laundered weekly or replaced immediately if necessary.
Our dedicated sleep rooms include one of the country's most advanced air conditioning systems, maintaining a comfortable, healthy climate all year round. Each room is thermostatically controlled — cosy in winter and cool in summer.
Sleep room features:
- HVAC filtration Fresh air is ducted and finely filtered, eliminating dust and pollen for children with respiratory problems
- Temperature control Year-round thermostatic control for optimum comfort
- Low-level windows Internal windows allow full visibility throughout for teacher oversight
- Acoustic insulation Sound-proofed for a restful, undisturbed sleep
- Named bedding Individual, labelled bedding laundered weekly
Teachers at child
Our teaching team comprises a mix of qualified, registered and experienced teachers with educational backgrounds. They are carefully selected based on their experience, compassion, and creativity.
Our teachers are at child because they are motivated and committed and have a real passion and ability to relate to and educate young children. They enjoy a family atmosphere in their workplace and are inspired by the imaginations and wonder of the young mind.
Teacher standards:
- Qualifications Qualified and registered ECE teachers
- First aid All staff hold current first-aid certificates
- Safety checks Full police and security vetting completed
- Professional development Regular PD courses to further knowledge and expertise
- Primary caregiving Babies are assigned a dedicated primary caregiver
