Babies Room
Teacher : Child Ratio — 1 : 3
At child, we boast the highest teacher-to-child ratios of 1:3, including primary caregivers. Our babies room is an exceptional space for your baby to thrive and grow.
It's a special place made for exploring alongside our caring teachers, who support your child to reach those precious first milestones — from first smiles and first steps to first words.
What to expect:
- Primary caregiving Each baby is assigned a primary caregiver for continuity and bonding
- Sleep Two dedicated, HVAC-filtered sleep rooms with individual cots and beeding
- Meals All food provided; just bring formula and feeding bottles
- Nappies & wipes All supplied by us

Room 1 — Curiosity and Exploration
Teacher : Child Ratio — 1 : 5
An engaging world where children learn to explore and develop friendships. This age group is curious about everything and becoming increasingly independent day by day.
We embrace this growing independence and support the growth of these amazing little people through play-based, intentional learning experiences.
What to expect:
- Social skills First friendships, sharing, turn-taking, and role play
- Language Rapidly expanding vocabulary through stories, songs, and conversation
- Independence Self-help skills including eating independently, hand washing, and toilet training
- Creativity Sensory play, art exploration, and imaginative activities

Room 3 — First Steps to Academic Readiness
Teacher : Child Ratio — 1 : 6
The children in this room are taking their first steps toward academic readiness. They are learning the alphabet, numbers, colours, and shapes. They also begin their journey with pre-writing skills and early numeracy and literacy.
Key learning areas:
- Alphabet & numbers Recognising and naming letters and numbers
- Colours & shapes Identifying and categorising the world around them
- Pre-writing Developing pencil grip and fine motor control
- Early reading Phonetic awareness through stories and rhymes

Room 4 — Inquisitive Minds & Problem Solvers
Teacher : Child Ratio — 1 : 6
This age group is full of inquisitive young minds and problem solvers. They are supported to take on new challenges and questions. We prepare them for the next step toward school readiness with engaging lesson plans.
Key learning areas:
- Critical thinking Asking "why?" and exploring answers through investigation
- Problem solving Puzzles, construction, and collaborative challenges
- Early writing Name writing, letter formation, and mark-making
- Social readiness Negotiation, empathy, and group participation

Room 5 — School Ready
Teacher : Child Ratio — 1 : 6
We inspire this age group to think critically, explore new ideas, and become curious and ready for school. They are engaged in our school readiness programme incorporating lessons of numeracy, literacy, and phonics — preparing them for their journey to "big school."
School readiness includes:
- Literacy Reading readiness, letter recognition, early reading
- Numeracy Counting, number recognition, basic operations
- Phonics Letter sounds, blending, sight words
- Self-management Independence, following instructions, time awareness
- Social confidence Working in groups, presenting ideas, resolving conflicts
